Rhondda Cynon Taff UNISON

RCT branch of UNISON supported Niki with total donations of £1500 during her first two years in South Africa. They went on to vote Zisize - The Heaton Lee Memorial Trust their charity of the year in 2001, 2002 and 2003. In 2002 their nomination of Niki for UNISON's Bob Cotton Award led to her being joint winner.

After winning the Bob Cotton Award, UNISON's Focus magazine's articles about Zisize led to individual members and branches making donations to the charity. See link below.

PSA Training & Development Ltd

PSA Training & Development have become good friends of Zisize. Two of their team accompanied the DTC group in 2004, having spent a year working with them. Dave is coming again in 2006 voluntarily with a small group and Mike and his family are coming in 2007.

Goodenough College, London

Zisize's connection with Goodenough began in 2003 when an existing project in Hilton had too many volunteers, so we offered to host them. This has led to a steady stream of international volunteers and a society at Goodenough called ZSAP - Zisize South Africa Project. They organise fund raising events to cover half their airfare and living costs and the college matches this. Niki's cousin, John is a Goodenough alumnus, as is his sister Nicky's daughter, Jane.

Atlantic Worldwide Movers

Atlantic funded the transportation of a 20ft container filled with donations from all over UK to Ingwavuma in 2004 and 2005 and have offered to make this an annual event. This is an extremely generous and helpful gesture.
